If you are encountering an error on your notifications page while publishing a post, don’t worry. Some common errors may occur on different networks and for different reasons. To help you out, we have compiled a list of such errors below.
1) Posts may fail on Facebook due to an OAuthException error message that occurs when Adorack doesn’t have the right permissions to access your Facebook accounts. This can happen if your Facebook password has changed or if Facebook has reset your security session.
2) If you’re attempting to share content on Facebook and receive an error message that reads “OAuthException, code: 368, message: The content you’re trying to share includes a link that our security systems detected to be unsafe,” it means that Facebook has identified the link or image you’re attempting to post as potentially harmful. You can try posting the content directly to Facebook to get more information on why it was blocked, or you can reach out to us for assistance and we’ll be happy to help.
3) Adorack does not have permission to access your groups or pages.
4) The “Unable to access uploaded media” error on Facebook may happen when their servers are overloaded. This means they cannot receive the video or image you want to upload. Wait a few minutes and check the platform to see if it’s published. If it’s not, try reducing the file size by lowering the resolution of your media.
Post not publishing to X? Here’s why:
1) Reauthorize your account: If you changed your X account’s password or got a security alert, refresh it so Adorack can post again. Refresh Token
2) Your post is too similar to a previous one. X prohibits publishing identical or substantially similar posts repeatedly on the same account or across multiple accounts. Please modify the text of your post to make it unique.
3) Your account has been locked by X. Check out X Locked Account Support to learn why and what you can do about it. X Locked Account Support.
1) Access Token Expired: Please note that LinkedIn access tokens expire every 60 days and require refreshing. You will receive an email notification prior to expiration to remind you to refresh your account. To resolve this error, please refresh your LinkedIn account by following the steps outlined in the “Refresh Token” guide.
2) Throttle Limit: LinkedIn restricts the number of posts one person can publish in a day. This includes posts made via Adorack or any other publishing apps.
